The more I talk to different businesses the more I hear that their existing resources are overstretched and there is no quick fix or easy  way out from there. What do you do when you are planning to launch a new product or service? Do you have dedicated resources to make it a success? Or do you expect your existing employees on  top of their current duties to take new duties on board at no cost to your business? Does it work? Or do people leave your business because they are overstressed?  No product or service can sell itself and you need resources behind the scenes to push it through and make it happen..

In a corporate structure, when your current resources are overstretched, you most likely will require  a new team member and even when you get the approval to hire a new talent will you have time to get that person up to speed? It may be even more overstretching for you as a new person comes out of your department’s budget and now it’s your personal responsibility to make sure your new hire becomes self-sufficient ASAP.  What options do you have? Sound familiar?

Well, there is no secret about how to make your business productive; you need to have a good professional team doing their jobs efficiently and you have to have a strong process in place for new business development and new hires.

Outsourcing is becoming the norm these days when it comes to IT services, accounting or telemarketing. What about business development? That can be outsourced too, just make sure that the company providing those services is local and has people on the ground to present your business the way you want it presented.

If your staff turnover is high, consider getting your Onboarding process outsourced. If you get a person who will be looking after your new hires making sure they are happy, getting trained to do their job and having no second thoughts as to leave your business in a couple of months potentially causing big headaches and leaving a trail of destruction to your business which someone has to tidy up and you start all over again.

Nothing is too hard if you can think outside of the box. Find additional resources on demand to keep your business productive.

Happy hiring new people ☺
